Sarah is the Founder & Creative Director of Bilingual Birdies. She has experience teaching global education to middle and high school age students in the Los Angeles and New York City public school systems. Throughout her professional career she spearheaded various arts based programs for students ranging from ages five to eighteen. She is committed to the mission of Bilingual Birdies because she grew up speaking Spanish, Farsi, and Hebrew (due to her Mexican mother, Iranian father and Jewish religion), and believes a multi-lingual kid will undoubtedly grow up to be an open-minded, intelligent, compassionate, and successful adult. Sarah was educated at the University of California, Los Angeles in Literature, with extensive course work in Education. She has lived abroad in Mexico City where she also worked in arts education. She has a genuine love for young children and believes she has a special connection to their unique ways.
